"Hope will Guide" The Goals of The Diana Walker Breast Cancer Foundation are: 1. Give hope to cancer patients and their families by providing desperately need financial gifts, during and after surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and other treatment. The focus will be on lower and middle income and underinsured people who have particularly challenging situations; and 2. provide an early detection Breast Cancer blood test for high risk woman, thus giving them the hope of not only survival, but possibly avoiding some of the rigors of cancer treatment.* Help us bring hope to those who are battling this ever more prevalent disease. Let them know that they are not alone in this struggle!! The Diana Walker Breast Cancer Foundation plans to have limit and have its operating costs underwritten by grants and corporate contributions. It is intended that all individual donations be used exclusively to provide the above services. The Diana Walker Breast Cancer Foundation has recently filed for federal tax-exemption. Our application is currently pending. We anticipate that any contributions to The Diana Walker Breast Cancer Foundation made in 2008 will be tax-deductible. Upon a favorable determination of our federal tax-exempt status, we will forward a receipt reflecting that your donation is tax-exempt as well as provide you with a copy of our Determination Letter for your records, if needed.
